Indian Lakes Recreational Preserve
One of the most appreciated features at Indian Lakes is the Recreational Preserve. Situated on the shores of Lake Arapaho, it is a focal point of community activity...our residents have given glowing reviews, and we constantly strive to add features that make it unique. Our residents are proud to show it off to guests and friends...it's not just your everyday community pool!

The Indian Lakes Pool

The beautiful, "resort-like" pool area concept was designed by Antonio Flamenco, architect of the Southern Living Concept Home of 2006. It features a negative edge pool that overlooks Lake Arapaho, with water cascading into a lower pool where residents can relax on a shallow-water "beach." For residents who appreciate relaxing to the soothing sounds of nature in the evenings, we've provided a comfortable outdoor living area at our bathhouse with teak furniture and overstuffed cushions, a ceiling fan and an area rug...some of our residents will bring a book to read, then jump into the pool for a comfortable dip. New to the pool is our custom-designed and built "pool beds"...large overstuffed beds which allow families to enjoy the pool in a much more comfortable and personal way, enjoying the view and the cool breezes from Lake Arapaho.

The Indian Lakes Rec Center

Scheduled for 2007 is the Indian Lakes Rec Center, which will feature exercise equipment, kitchen facilities, an outdoor pavilion, and a gathering place for Indian Lakes residents. Work out in the mornings in a recreation room overlooking the lake...large picture windows will allow residents to take in the outdoors while enjoying their workout experience like never before. We're currently in the design phase, and construction will begin in early 2007.

Outdoor Activities
With a focus on outdoor living, Indian Lakes provides a number of outdoor activities for your family. We offer professionally-maintained equestrian trails, hiking trails, outdoor exercise facilities (ParCourt), tennis courts, a basketball court, and children's playground.

Equestrian Trails

Many of our residents have an interest in equestrian activities, so we're pleased to offer equestrian trails as an amenity at Indian Lakes. Additionally, lot sizes and deed restrictions that are friendly to horse lovers.

Hiking Trails

Indian Lakes features miles of hiking trails through dedicated "conservation areas" with trail markers and informational signage featuring local wildlife and plants. Professors at Texas A&M occasionally bring classes from the university to explore our professionally-maintained trail systems because they appreciate our conservation-based development, which allows flora and fauna to live and thrive.

Outdoor Exercise Equipment

Another great feature of Indian Lakes is the outdoor exercise circuit equipment, also known as a "ParCourt" system. Areas for stretching, warmups, and suggested exercises make healthy living more enjoyable. Use our trails system for jogging, walking, or biking, and reap the benefits of a stronger heart, improved endurance, and a longer, healthier life!*

Tennis Courts/Basketball Court

If you're a tennis player, you'll really enjoy the natural beauty of our tennis courts! Situated amongst towering oak trees, you'll feel like the court is "floating" in the trees; it truly is a court with a view. Even the soothing, natural colors of the courts blend in with the environment, making you feel as if you're playing "close to nature." And when you're done playing tennis, one of the courts converts into a full basketball court, so you can invite your friends for a game!

* Consult with your doctor before beginning any exercise routine.
